Glorify God in your work

by admin on Nov.09, 2009, under Your Praises

By the sheer virtue that you are known as a Christian, you are actually a walking testimony for God. People look at you, people judge you and people then measure how Christians behave.

While it is natural for people to have some perception about Christianity, it is important to note that we can basically change people’s opinion, for good, towards Christianity.

And the best place to do this is in your work and school. In work, you should do your utmost best and know that you are really a testimony for God. People who may not know God will look at you and wonder why you are so active, cheerful, happy and positive. And they will soon realise that it is because you have God! Indeed! I’ve got the joy joy joy joy down in my heart!

So, treat your work as an opportunity to serve God! Now, get going to work..

When someone passes away

by admin on Oct.31, 2009, under Your Praises

Tired.. in need of some strength from God (Prayer)

by admin on Oct.27, 2009, under Your Praises

Oh God, I am really tired. Help me make use of my time wisely Father, because the time I have is a gift from you. Help me to manage my time well so that I know I can use it to better serve Thee.

Lord, I want to thank you for the book of Job, which serves as a constant reminder that as long as you are with us, there is nothing we cannot overcome. I want to thank you for salvation through Jesus Christ, because we know that eventually, we will have eternal life through Him.

So let me pick myself up. Life on earth will pass in a fleeting moment. We should be grateful for what God has given to us and work hard in whatever we can, so that in this short span of time on earth, we can build up our treasures in Heaven. Thank God!
